Bill Peters
Chief Operations Officer
Bill Peters has been with the Chumash Casino Resort since it first opened in 1994. He began his career in the Table Games Department and worked his way through the department’s hierarchy, holding positions from dealer to supervisor to executive director. Bill was named Assistant General Manager of Gaming and Hospitality in 2003, then became General Manager of the Chumash Casino Resort in 2007. He earned the title of Chief Operations Officer in 2020. Throughout his role in leadership, Bill has been responsible for the development of key programs within the organization, including Player Development’s host program, the team member training and orientation programs, the Slot Dispatch System, and most recently the implementation of the Customer Experience program.
