John Elliott

Chief Executive Officer

John Elliott joined Chumash Enterprises as Chief Executive Officer in January 2020. As CEO, John is responsible for managing the overall operations and resources for the Chumash-owned entities and serves a dual focus on both tribal economic development and gaming operations.  Prior to his current role, John served as CEO for Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma from 2016-2019 and as CEO of Global Gaming Solutions from 2008-2016. He has also worked in key positions for other companies, such as Chickasaw Nation Business Operations and UMS Group.  John has a bachelor’s degree in Financial Administration from the University of New England in Australia and a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
