COMEDIAN BILL ENGVALL TO PERFORM AT CHUMASH CASINO RESORT
SANTA YNEZ, CA – April 3, 2026 – Known for his clean, relatable wit, American stand-up comedian, actor, and TV show host Bill Engvall will bring his live show to the Chumash Casino Resort’s Samala Showroom at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 24. Tickets for the show are $79, $89, $115, $120 and $130.
Engvall started his comedy career performing stand-up in clubs during the mid-1980s before making his first nationally televised appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson” in 1989. In 1990, he decided to pursue comedy full-time and gained early visibility while hosting the cable comedy program, “A Pair of Jokers.” His career reached a major milestone in 1992 when he won “Best Male Stand-Up Comedian” at the American Comedy Awards.
With eight solo stand-up comedy albums to date, Engvall has solidified his reputation as a leading voice in mainstream, family-friendly comedy. His debut album, “Here’s Your Sign,” was released in 1996 and was certified platinum. The album held the No. 1 position on the Billboard Comedy Chart for 15 straight weeks, peaked at No. 5 on Billboard’s Current Country Album Chart, and reached the Top 50 on Billboards Top 200 Album Chart. He also co-launched the enormously successful “Blue Collar Comedy Tour” concert films in 2000, and later starred in his own sitcom, “The Bill Engvall Show” from 2007 to 2009 on TBS.
