COMEDIAN DAVID SPADE TO PERFORM AT CHUMASH CASINO RESORT

SANTA YNEZ, CA – FEBRUARY 15, 2022 – David Spade, the “Saturday Night Live” alum and star of the popular “Joe Dirt” film series, brings his stand-up comedy talents to the Samala Showroom at 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 24 at the Chumash Casino Resort. Tickets for the show are $39, $44, $49, $59 and $69.

Spade became a household favorite in the 1990s during his six-year run as a cast member on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.” During this period, his popularity grew, as he starred alongside friend and fellow comedian Chris Farley in “Black Sheep” and “Tommy Boy.” He went on to have success on the television sitcom, “Just Shoot Me,” notably earning Emmy, Golden Globe and an American Comedy Award nominations for his memorable role as the wisecracking, power-hungry assistant, Dennis Finch.

In 2001, Spade starred as the hilarious and endearing misfit in the cult classic, “Joe Dirt.” In 2015, he reprised his role as the wig-wearing, jean-sporting oddball in the sequel, “Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser.”

In recent years, Spade has ventured into new entertainment territory. In 2015, he released his memoir, “Almost Interesting,” which went on to become a New York Times Bestseller. In 2019, he published his audio biography: “A Polaroid Guy in a Snapchat World,” in which he reflects on his life then and now. That same year, he hosted one season of the late-night talk show “Lights Out with David Spade” on Comedy Central. In 2020, Spade starred in the streaming Netflix original comedy, “The Wrong Missy,” in which he plays a recently single businessman who is caught up in a love triangle of mistaken identity.
