COMEDIAN RALPH BARBOSA TO PERFORM AT CHUMASH CASINO RESORT
SANTA YNEZ, CA – September 16, 2024 – Rising comedy star Ralph Barbosa is bringing “The Super Cool A** Tour” to the Chumash Casino Resort’s Samala Showroom at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, 2024. Tickets for the show are $59, $64, $69, $79 and $89.
Known for his quick wit and infectious charm, Barbosa was named 2019’s “Funniest Comic in Texas” and won the HBO & New York Latino Film Festival (NYLFF) Stand-Up Comedy Competition in 2021. In November 2022, he starred in the HBO Max comedy special, “Entre Nos: The Winners 3,” and earlier that year his “Don’t Tell Comedy” performance was released on YouTube and now has nearly 6 million views. In 2023, he made his debut on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” and later that year he premiered his first Netflix stand-up special, “Ralph Barbosa: Cowabunga,” which quickly soared up the Top 10 TV Shows list.
The Latino comedian discovered his desire to make people laugh during his senior year of high school. What started as a way to escape the mundane took a turn when Barbosa’s friend gave him a shot at an open mic night in Dallas, Texas. Following this performance, his career as a comedian took flight and resulted in making headlines across the country and gaining sudden popularity.
