LATIN GROUP TIERRA CALI TO PERFORM AT CHUMASH CASINO RESORT

SANTA YNEZ, CA – January 30, 2020 – Tierra Cali, the group of brothers who have lit up the Regional Mexican charts over the past decade, bring their North American tour to the Samala Showroom at 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28 at the Chumash Casino Resort. Tickets for the show are $29, $39, $49, $54 and $59.
Tierra Cali will be joined by Latin Grammy-nominated Los Canarios de Michoacán for the special performance in the intimate 1,400-seat Samala Showroom.
The Plancarte Farfán brothers – Humberto, Jose Cruz, Rafa, Arcadio, Efrain and Armando – started Tierra Cali in 2000, debuting in Uruapan, Michoacán, Mexico.
Their breakout album, “Enamorado de Ti,” was released in 2007 and featured popular songs such as the title track and “Donde Quiera Que Estés” to propel the group into the mainstream of the Latin music industry. The album reached No. 15 on the Billboard Regional Mexican chart and was certified platinum with more than 100,000 units sold in the U.S.
Tierra Cali followed with a string of Top 20 albums, including “Si Tu Te Vas” (2009), “Maldito Amor” (2010) and “Un Siglo de Amor” (2011) to solidify their spot on the radio both in the U.S. and Mexico. In 2012, “Entregate” topped the Latin Albums and Mexican Regional charts simultaneously, featuring singles such as “Sin Ti No Vivo” and “Que Te Vaz Vete Pues.”
Following the success of its 2015 release “#Hashtag y Lo Mas Trending,” the group continues to tour throughout North America while working on new material.
Los Canarios de Michoacán, featuring Raul Nava, Ignacio Antonio Caldera, Valentin Castillo and Antonio Nava, rose to prominence in 2013 with Latin Grammy nominations for Best Regional Mexican Song (“Todo y Nada”) and Best Norteño Album (“Hoy y Siempre”).
