KENNY METCALF AS ELTON & THE EARLY YEARS BAND TO PERFORM AT CHUMASH CASINO RESORT
SANTA YNEZ, CA – January 5, 2024 – Kenny Metcalf, who performs the legendary Elton John’s popular hits like “Benny and the Jets,” “Rocket Man” and “Candle in The Wind,” will bring his tribute show to the Samala Showroom at 8 p.m. on Friday, January 26 at the Chumash Casino Resort. Tickets for the show are $20.
Throughout the years, Kenny Metcalf has carefully curated his act to bring the full essence of Elton John’s spectacular shows to every single performance. From the costumes, backup singers and musicians, fans receive the full experience of Elton John’s early career all in one performance.
During the 1970s, after hearing Elton John’s voice for the first time, Metcalf left behind playing the drums, which he had played for 10 years, and immediately began learning how to play the piano. In the 1980s, Metcalf toured with the rock group Stryper as their stage keyboardist. After his departure with Stryper, Metcalf stayed in the music industry and began his own studio, where he recorded with many other artists.
A few years after beating a bleak medical diagnosis, Metcalf performed his first show as Elton John and has been performing ever since. Kenny Metcalf is an experienced studio engineer, musician, singer and song writer. His spot-on performances bring out droves of fans all over the country.
