POPULAR BALLADEER ENGELBERT HUMPERDINCK TO PERFORM AT CHUMASH CASINO RESORT
SANTA YNEZ, CA – January 22, 2024 – British pop singer Engelbert Humperdinck, whose extensive catalog of popular hits includes “Release Me” and “A Man Without Love,” will bring his “The Last Waltz, Farewell Tour” to the Samala Showroom at 8 p.m. on Friday, February 9 at the Chumash Casino Resort. Tickets for the show are $39, $49, $59, $64 and $69.
With a career spanning over 50 years, Humperdinck has sold more than 140 million records. His accolades also include 65 gold albums, 35 platinum albums, four Grammy nominations, a Golden Globe, and stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Las Vegas Walk of Fame and Leicester Walk of Fame.
Humperdinck has recorded everything from romantic ballads to movie theme songs, disco, rock and even gospel. His unique voice and charm have captivated millions of fans around the globe.
He began his career in 1959 when he was scouted after winning a talent contest. The same year, he released his first debut single, “Crazy Bells,” and became part of a touring show called “The Big Beat Show” while continuing to work in nightclubs.
In 1967, Humperdinck reached international prominence with his single, “Release Me,” which reached No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart.
