TRIBUTE BAND REVISITING CREEDENCE TO PERFORM AT CHUMASH CASINO RESORT
SANTA YNEZ, CA – March 26, 2026 – Known for their authentic renditions of Creedence Clearwater Revival classics, the tribute band Revisiting Creedence will bring their live, high-energy performance to the Chumash Casino Resort’s Samala Showroom at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 17. Formed in 2021 as a continuation of Creedence Clearwater Revisited, Revisiting Creedence features powerhouse performers Dan McGuinness and Kurt Griffey, both of whom toured internationally with Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) founding members Stu Cook and Doug “Cosmo” Clifford. With over two decades of experience performing together, McGuinness and Griffey continue the legacy of CCR by delivering iconic hits, like “Proud Mary” and “Bad Moon Rising,” with the energy, authenticity, and precision that defined Creedence’s initial rise to fame.
The original band, Creedence Clearwater Revival, was one of the most influential American rock bands of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Their catalog is packed with tracks that never left the classic-rock rotation, including “Fortunate Son,” “Have You Ever Seen the Rain,” and “Green River.” Widely regarded as one of the greatest American rock bands of all time, their compilation album, “Chronicle: The 20 Greatest Hits,” remains one of the best-selling albums in U.S. history.
