TWO MAJOR TABLE GAMES JACKPOTS HIT WITHIN SIX HOURS AT CHUMASH CASINO RESORT
SANTA YNEZ, CA – October 1, 2026 – Two guests recently hit major table games jackpots within six hours of each other at Chumash Casino Resort, combining to win more than $393,000 in a single night.
Just after 8 p.m. on Sept. 28, a guest known as Randy C. of Fresno won the Multi-Progressive Table Games Jackpot worth $225,574 while playing Ultimate Texas Hold'em. His winning hand was a royal flush, the qualifying hand needed to trigger the progressive jackpot.
"I was waiting to jump on that table for quite some time," Randy said. "So, I was playing some of the slot machines kind of close by, waiting for a spot to open up and when one finally did, I was like, 'OK, now is my opportunity.' So, I jumped into the open chair and hit the royal flush right on the first hand."
At first, Randy did not realize the magnitude of what had happened.
"I thought I hit the flush," he said. "Thought I won a couple hundred bucks and I was excited just for that. And everybody on the table was like, 'No, no, you hit the progressive.' I didn't even know how to think or feel. I was just sitting there and just amazed."
The win was still difficult for Randy to comprehend as he and his wife discussed plans for the money.
"You honestly don't know how to feel," Randy said. "I've been talking about it with my wife and what we're gonna do with the winnings, and it's just a blessing. It really is."
Randy said the jackpot will help both his family and an ongoing home remodeling project.
"First thing that came to mind, I got six grandkids, so I'm gonna put a little bit away for them for a college fund," Randy said. "And we're actually in the middle of a remodel in the house, so this is gonna definitely take our remodel a little further too."
Then, just over six hours later, a little after 2 a.m. on Sept. 29, an anonymous Santa Barbara man won the Bonus Spin Xtreme Power Up progressive jackpot worth $167,630 while playing Blackjack. The guest made the qualifying side wager and was dealt a Blackjack in his first two cards, activating the game's Bonus Spin wheel. The wheel landed on "Jackpot," triggering the progressive payout.
The Chumash Casino Resort's Multi-Progressive Table Games Jackpot awards the growing jackpot when a guest places the qualifying side wager and achieves a royal flush while playing Three Card Poker, Four Card Poker, Mississippi Stud or Ultimate Texas Hold'em.
The Bonus Spin Xtreme Power Up progressive jackpot is available on Blackjack, Spanish 21 and Free Bet Blackjack tables throughout the resort's table games pit. Guests who place the qualifying side wager and are dealt a Blackjack in their first two cards earn the opportunity to spin a virtual wheel featuring 12 prizes ranging from $40 to the progressive jackpot.
