OXNARD WOMAN TAKES HOME $50K GRAND PRIZE AT CHUMASH CASINO RESORT’S ‘MONEY TALKS’ GIVEAWAY

SANTA YNEZ, CA – March 8, 2023 – An Oxnard woman took home the $50,000 cash prize Sunday night at the Chumash Casino Resort’s quarterly “Money Talks” grand-prize giveaway, which featured $250,000 in cash and prizes being awarded to 30 lucky winners. 

After hearing her name called at 10 p.m., the winner, a guest known as Lisa B., posed for a photo holding a $50,000 check, smiling from ear to ear. Lisa and Chumash Casino Resort guests had been accumulating entries for the drawing since November by using their player’s club card whenever they played slots or table games on the casino floor.

The evening’s drawings began at 5 p.m., with prizes ranging from $2,500 to $25,000 in Slot Free Play until 9 p.m., with the giveaway culminating with Lisa taking home $50,000 in cash at 10 p.m.

The Chumash Casino Resort also conducts its $100,000 Weekly Wheels Car + Free Play Giveaway every week, but the next quarterly giveaway will be called “Hitch the Fun,” featuring two grand prizes – an Adventure Package and a Road Trip Package. The Adventure Package features the rugged Jeep Gladiator, a Sea-Doo GTI 170, a Sea-Doo Spark and a Zieman Double Trailer. The Road Trip Package features the full-size Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab 4x4 and a Genesis Supreme Surfside RV.
