SANTA YNEZ, CA – January 23, 2019 – The Austrian mentalist duo as seen on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” The Clairvoyants, are coming to mesmerize the audience of the Chumash Casino Resort’s Samala Showroom at 8 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2019. Tickets for the show are $19, $29, $39, $49 & $59.

The Clairvoyants’ recent return to compete on “America’s Got Talent: The Champions,” earned NBC over 9.9 million total viewers, making it the “most watched unscripted premiere on broadcast this season.”

Amélie van Tass and Thommy Ten were both born and raised in Austria and now reside in both Austria and America. When they met in October 2011, they began to develop their “second sight” act and brought it on stage for the first time two months later. Within a year, they had developed a full-length show and began touring Europe.

In 2014, they received their first long-term contract in America for the show “The Illusionarium.” After a six-month run in the show, they were offered a featured spot in the world’s largest touring magic show, “The Illusionists.”

In 2016, they decided to compete in season 11 of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” After four months, multiple performances and over 100,000 contestants, America voted them second place. This recognition earned them a performance at the Sydney Opera House and also an opportunity to headline the show “The Illusionists - Turn of the Century” in the Palace Theatre in New York City on Broadway. The show was the best-selling magic show in Broadway history.

Throughout their careers, Van Tass and Ten have been awarded “The German Champions of Mentalism,” “Magicians of the Year 2015” and, also in 2015, were enthusiastically chosen as the “World Champions of Mentalism,” a prize that hasn't been awarded in 30 years.

In April 2017, the Academy of Magical Arts and The Magic Castle Hollywood awarded the duo with the “Stage Magicians of the Year 2016” for their extraordinary art.

Don’t miss an opportunity to see these magicians live in one of the most popular entertainment venues in Santa Barbara County.

Located on Highway 246 in Santa Ynez, California, the Chumash Casino Resort is an age 21-and-older venue. Tickets for all events are available at the Chumash Casino Resort’s Club Indulge or online at www.chumashcasino.com.
